I suppose it makes sense to let the readers who are new to me, know who I am. My name is Joe White. I really am involved in three professions. I run a successful mortgage practice with offices in Denver and Colorado Springs. I have been in the mortgage business for quite some time. My practice today focuses on showing clients how to fully utilize all of their assets – including the equity in their home. We teach them how to invest that equity into investments like real estate to accelerate their wealth building. The primary goal of most of my mortgage clients is to enhance their retirement. I also do some work in the area of bill consolidation with the goal of solving the client’s problems so that they can become investment clients.
In addition to the mortgage business, I am an active real estate investor. My specialty is Non-Traditional Real Estate with a special interest in a methodology I developed that combines refinance, lease option, and equity split.
Finally, I instruct and mentor other people how to do what I do in both the mortgage arena and the real estate investing arena. I hope to use this blog as a means of sharing my wisdom and insight from years of experience as well as provide a means of offering some unique, potentially new concepts to those who desire to learn.
The foundation principles that guide my approaches include:
- Wealth building will likely never be accomplished with income alone. Successful wealth building (as in retirement) almost always requires the employment of appreciating assets.
- Real Estate is a great investment.
- Real Estate should almost NEVER be sold.
- Equity in a home is a non-performing asset that only has true value when you put it to work.
- The successful financial planning decision requires a full financial statement impact evaluation – not just an event evaluation.
- Control of real estate is usually better than ownership.
- Non-Traditional Real Estate methods are almost always a better approach than the Traditional Real Estate methods.
- Return On Investment is the key evaluator of a successful investment.
- Leveraging – used properly – is the secret weapon of investing.
- You have to plan and evaluate tax impact when doing any type of investment planning.
- Financial Planning and execution should be done from a “true” low risk approach.
- Cross asset class investing is the key to “true diversification”
There you have it, those are my foundation principles. In these posts I will provide tangible advice. I hope to get you thinking. I will challenge your assumptions in finance.
My plan is to post “at least” once a week. My Inner Circle Mentorship students know that some weeks my frequecy greatly exceeds that. If you would like to learn about our programs in the mortgage or real estate investment fields, I have set up several links at the top of the page that will direct you to ways to request information. Or, if you are the state of Colorado, feel free to call me at 866-460-5570 and set up an appointment to discuss your particular situation.
Great Investing!
